YES he is at it again, as soon as it rains heavily the WR passenger side footwell gets a soaking.
I am REALLY starting to get pissed off with this now, I can only use him 2 days of the year it doesnt rain up here. No move then jokes thanks ![]() checked around the fusebox, its bone dry, carpet coming down from up under the dash is dry, transmission tunnel carpet is dry, behind the glovebox looks dry as well, the screen is dry inside. there is what looks like a split between the fusebox and the top of the heater matrix, along the plenum chamber as I would call it where would this lead to? Also, the black cover isnt exactly in the best of nick either. on the inside of the wing, there is a hole cut out in the wing so I assume this is for drainage..... surely it couldnt be getting in here could it? I re-sealed the hole for the bonnet cable release so its not coming in from there. Anyone got some good ideas please because I am at my whits end having to bail him out when he gets wet. thanks

the big holes in the inner wings are for drainage rich, just keep em clear of leaves. My white one did the same as yours and i tracked it down to the windscreen, it had a new screen and rubber put in and cured it so the screen rubber may have moved or been put in badly on mine...just a thought as i checked the usual bonnet pull routing etc

Get inside and have someone spray the car on firts the left side front and then the right side.
Get a good torch to have a look under the dash with and see if you can locate it that way. |

Removal tip for the rear lights- Warm the mounting flange from inside the boot to get the seal to release.
Much more effective than heating the light unit. ![]() |

bodyshop just called.. found 2 BIG leaks so far ![]() 1) sunroof drain hose (passenger side) has shrunk and come off its exit pipe so running striaght into the car ![]() 2) door apature seal wasnt sealed very well... I said about the rear tail light so He'll have a look. stripped out seat and carpet so thats dried off. The under lay sound proofing is f***** so he has removed it all and will replace with new material. windscreen seal is good, no probs there....
