Default Type 81 Handling - Spax VSX Suspension

Went down to the driving range yesterday, and the road back is full on twistys. The weather was grizzly, spitting rain & damp roads. I was with my mate travelling within the speed restrictions and I was very impressed with the handling.

It may be the fact its lowered 40mm and its got brand new Kumho tyres on there as well, but there was really no oversteer, and the car seemed very capable of holding the road in these conditions. At times I knew I could have pushed a bit more but did not want to break the speed limit.

So to conclude I would highly reconmend the Spax VSX kit, my only negative is at times it is a bit hard for normal driving conditions; such as you feel every bump and crack in the road, but I am currently running 45 profile tyres hence I probably feel the road more. Also when carrying passengers, the ride height drops evenly; i.e front & rear lower equally, rather than rear lowering more than front. The VSX setup more than compensates for the hard ride when you let loose around some twisty's, and for the price I personally think it is a bargain!
