My comments on this will probably start world war three but. The point is exactly?? Bloody fast I grant you and awesome engineering but what can you do with a car that not only rips your face off but tries to eat it's own dash too! Where could you use that over here, apart from the Isle Of Man, and that's not over here. I probably am missing a point somewhere along the line but he, just my opinion.

Sweden, that's where Rich.

I think he's mainly built it for 'drifts' and 1/4 miles etc, and as a showcase/engineering exercise.....And for a bit of a giggle.

The fact he's 24 speaks volumes I think to scandinavians skillbase. They have an uncanny habit of being exceptional at anything they try their hands at....

Admittedly yes, it isnt a useable everyday driving kind of car but in terms of Quattro "home" automotive achievements it is pretty high up there. Its not taken too seriously and trailored everywhere being polished and driven carefully.

i dont think its dash flex, looks alot more like a big lack of screws/bolts that should hold it in place lol

That's the best part about the General Lee 80. There doesn't have to be a point. They have done it because they can.
The best thing about it (and as others have said), is that they are some very clever young men who have managed to get over 700 horses out of a 5 pot motor in the name of fun.
It's a superb advert for Martinsson racing, in the same way that some of the Dahlback cars are a good advert for them.
You can never tire from watching/listening to the General on full chat! Was my ring tone on my old phone till it got lynched!
