Need a drivers side (offside) wiper arm with spoiler for a '91 model 80 saloon. Part number 894 955 407E. Must be in good nick
The spoiler has come off mine and although it repairs with superglue it's just not the same is it? There's a couple on eBay but they come as a pair and I only require the one |

Is the part number stamped on the arms for these ?
I have various wiper arms and I did have a spare pair from a 80 avant at one point. Will need to check

My thanks go to a couple of fellow forum members who have checked their stashes for me
All the drivers side arms with spoilers on eBay appear to be from coupes and cabrios and have a part number of 896 955 407 which is different from the one I'm after. However the passenger side arms from these vehicles have the same part number as the passenger arm on my saloon. So is the passenger arm on a coupe/cabrio the same as a saloon but the drivers side different? Or is it just the same arm with a different part number? I would have thought if the passenger arm is the same, the drivers would be too! ![]() Can someone please explain! ![]() |

I'll tell you one thing Carl,i'm getting brain ache.
![]() ![]() Don't know about you? Just buy it form Audi or get one from Ebay with same number. I found a wheel tonight i'm after and it's at least 4 times more expensive than what you can get them for which is rarely if at all and when you do they're scruffy, so i've just decided to buy it and be done with it.Can't be doing with all the faffing about and this wheel looks in the pics as new. |

Ok,i'm not sure i can help but this is what i would do.Look at the old Vagcat or 7zap and check the numbers to see if they are the same. One thing i do know Carl is mostly all Auid 80 B4 part numbers start with 8AO and virtually all Cabriolet part numbers start with 8G0 but there will be a lot of crossovers.
If you like, tomorrow i'll see if i can read the numbers of my 80 avant and the cabriolet for references? |
