Default 215/50/50 quattro tyres.

I'm looking at getting a spare set of tyres for my WR Quattro.

Having had a quick scan it seems that the Dunlops 215/50R15 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Tyre are getting very scarce now.

Is there any other alternatives or has anyone got a link to a tyre seller that still has stock and doesn't want to pull my pants down and beat me

Did find this on the bay but I'm not sure if they are up to much?

What was the original tyre back in the day for the UR?

When I upgraded my 82 UR to 8J rims (82 UR 6J standard) I put 225/50 x 15 Fuldas on without any problems (I did roll the rear wheelarch but then all the 84 model year UR;s which came with 8J as standard had this done at the factory).

For info the original tyre size on the 82 UR was a 205/60 x 15 so if I used 215/50 x 15 as audi secified for the 84 model year the rolling radius would have been even further out than the 225/50 x 15 that I used.
