I'm not sure if this has bee discussed before, but can I run my 1976 Audi 100 Coupé S on 95 Octane unleaded fuel instead of lead replacement fuel without modifications to the engine or valves?
95 Octane is the highest we have available... |

Hi , the only problem i faced using unleade fuel in my 1987 Audi 100 quattro 2.3 is that when i stored it for a year the metering fuel distributor stuck and all components that contacts with the fuel neaded to be cleaned . My enginear told me that the unleaeded fuel didn't have that lubricated elements to lubricate and protect that engines especialy when the engine doesn't work.
