polly bush help! plz.

having been a while since i last looked at these, i've been wanting to fit them to my new CQ how ever i'm not sure if i've miss laid some metal tubes or not.

I have the big tubes that go in the wishbone bushes, but i also have a pair of 'small' tubes as well.. but i'm confused at to where they are suppose to go? are they for where the anti roll bar meets the wishbone? because they don't look long enough or are they suppose to be slightly short?

OR are they meant to sit between the two little 'flying saucier' like bushes? (if u know the ones i mean.)


They are the only small steel tubes i have (or can find) so am i missing some?

If so, the wishbones use a crush tube that is significantly larger than the ones used in the ARB links. The ARB link bushes have a lower and upper bush pair, both of which will require the smaller crush tubes when fitting new urethane bushes. Four in total.

You mention that you have two small crush tubes, which will indicate that you may have only ordered the ARB top link bushes (which are easier to obtain than the lower ones). The ARB link bushes are very easy to fit as long as you have some sort of long bar for leverage.

Make sure you lubricate the bushes and crush tubes copiously with the supplied special grease.

Thanks for the reply.. Basically i have eight big bushes and eight crush tubes for the wish bones.

i'm just wondering if i'm missing any smaller tubes because i only have two of the smaller crush tubes.

Also, i'm confused trying to work out if the small tubes i have are suppose to be used with the thing on the left or the things on the right?
And are smaller crush tubes the same size/type for both things? And so am i just missing two of them?

Great.. so bacically i must have lost two tubes for the thing on the left then and i've already put one of them in a wish bone
