Default My 4 ringed dilemma.

Yo!

Well,I call upon all 'ere present to offer their profoundest Audiness to my current situation. It is one of non Audidom.

Its been about ....ummmm..6 cars since my lovely clean Coupe.
One serious dose of risk-based decision making, one free car,one wrong un from the off,one love of my life which died a sudden death and now my VW.

The gist is...Id like to get currently into a 2.0 80
Dont mind if its Auto or Manual.Saloon or Avant.
Theres a local one for sale. Its uber rare,in Ming Blue,an Avant, and is manual and 16v!
I'm going to see the car tomorrow.I miss owning the quality feel of the Audi brand.
My Dub does have some, but you can really feel that they threw those extra pennies into manufacturing Audis from the day they were made.
I've been in,driven, and considered other brands since February.I was all set to own a car I couldnt refuse, alas that fell through and I still have the car that just doesnt want me to sell her.Shes great on fuel, handles ok,even goes fairly well now Ive put together a stainless exh.

Point is.....the nagging of the quad ring wont go away!

Think the bug bit harder than I thought! The bug of the B4!

I sold mine for a 106 GTI a while ago and although I love the Pug, I miss getting in the 80 and knowing it would start, EVERY time

Twas to be a 306 for me too Liam.

The fact that I'd owned a mint 205 GTi previously, remembering the plasticiness and flimsiness of them just rang huge alarm bells.I just couldnt do it again, not after a solid beast like a B4.

swap your passat for a 100 quattro avant and a boot full of spares?

Thanks.....but after an 80 mate.I'd take a Coupe Cat C or D and repair myself. So long as its not needing welding.

I just cant go back to another Type 44.Never ever again!
