Default Buying a car you have seen out and about

Saw an A6 2.5 tdi quattro avant C4 P reg today. Which I want to buy.

Seen it out and about a few times, even in my local petrol station.

Followed it to my town tonight, and followed it out of town (away from my lasagne!!!).

How can I find out where he lives?

Best to not get done for stalking or you restraining order will prevent you ever doing a deal, but on a serious note, leave a note on the windscreen if you see it parked, or have a word with your friendly cashier at the petrol station. If the car is local they may be a regular there, and would pass on the message.

as said by darreno'd' or simply remember what time and day(people are creatures of habit-sad but very true) you saw it at the garage and wait on the same day/time ,then when you see the car again, approach the driver and say YOU ARE NOT A STALKER but youve admired the car from afar and if /when it comes up for sale please bear you in mind .or in a sane world just leave a not with the garage operator asking if he/she can pass the message on and pass your £5 note over to remind them or become a way better stalker

good choice of car to actually stalk someone over though, just got a quattro version myself.Had a 2wd nearly 6 years now,my guess is the owner probably won't want to sell it,people tend to hang on to them for years

what are they like to live with? For me, it would be the ultimate work horse. Big enough to get 3 dogs in the back and stick a tow bar on it and it'll tow a horse box.

I would love to have one as a daily hack to be honest.

But you'd keep it for 2 days!!!

You change your car more often than I change my pants.
