Default Crashed Slimer sh**

Well my day when fron bad to fkn worse this morning at approximately 9.50am black ice got her. Bang!!! going down hill between two speed claming measures ha that's a laugh and a speed bump in the middle. Mark was driving the Avant clipped back ice when left hit kerb slid sideways over speed bump narrowly missed hitting other stupid speed calming measure shot across the road and wack! straight into the fkn barrier not a happy camper at all.

Damage to radiator, light, bonnet, grill and surround, light clips, bumper possibly chassi leg no sure so slimer was towed away to the VW/Audi approved repair body shop awaiting to see whether she will be written off or not so I'll fund out tomorrow so I'll keep you posted.

Traffic "calming" is so overrated.

Just vandalism by the council for political ends.

Glad you and mark are ok.

And no, before someone really clever says it, winter tyres would not have helped.

sorry to see this Sharon!! as said on the blower its as well it was a slow shunt!

claim againt the council saying that those stupid lumps of tar in the road upset your cars handling and caused you to spin round out of control on the black ice.... the fact that other vehicles have also had an incident there may add weight to your claim.

doesnt look toooo bad but because of the value of the car will probably as already mentioned doesnt make it financially viable to repair.... unless you pay for it. at 20 mph or less its likely to be not as bad as it looks structurally.

at least your both ok and thats the most important thing, cars/ panels can be replaced, the squidgy bit inside isnt so easily fixable!!

Doesnt look too bad, the bumper horns would take most of the impact and the wings look farely untouched. Unless the bumper is cracked it can be fixed. The frame holding lights etc. is only about 130 euros, if i remember correctly, and comes with a new lock.

Airbags still intact ?
