Default Grrrr....

Bloody typical!
Enjoying the snow and J73 decides to become unreliable for the first time ever NOW!

My injector resistor pack 2.3 20v 7A) has given up the ghost today, if any one has one for sale please let me know.
Also, need a blower fan (as mine is desperately trying to get out of the dashboard everytime I need to defrost the screen!
Also, need a 5speed, torsen diff'd quattro 'box as I had one and some theiving GIT stole if from my garden the day before I was due to fit it!!! I have all the dam luck! Mine is the lower ratio one and is infact the second one I've fitted to her myself and this is buggered now!

If anyone has any of these bits please let me know! Cheers!

Sorry to hear about the breakdown and the theft. Hope everything else is going better for you. I'm sure that somebody will come up with the goods. Keep smiling and hope to see you at Breakfast Club.

my mate could do that!

He was on some Channel 4 game show program about 10 years ago when he mentioned it! I'm sure his mom and dad were sooo proud!

You know some perculiar people!!!!

Cheers everyone.

SPink, I'll have whatever you have mate.

I am gonna call the 90 sport and buy it! That has all the bits I need. It looks tidy enough.

I have just managed to effect a temporary repair! I have patched the wire from the failed internal resistor (in this case cyl #4) and patched it into the outputs from cyl 3 & 5. I have then connected 1 & 2 together as this levelled out the resistance of all 5 outputs to 5.6ohms - spec is 5.0 - 8.0 Ohms...Runs like a dream! The injectors are switched on thier earth by the ECU so the resistor pack merely gives a constant power feed so there's no harm in bridging them. It's no long term fix as going to put extra load on remaining ones so I'll have the bits but I can drive her home tonight!!

Spink, if you PM what you want and what bits you have I'll forward some monies - Cheers!!!!

Yeah, my neighbour says a scrap van comes round once a week so has to have been them. It was perfectly good and if they'd have waited a day they could've gladly had the knackered one to weigh in!!!! What's really bad is that they actually came into the garden, round back of garage and carried it out! Wish I'd have caught them! They would have had a bit of a head ache!

Might still have the resister pack from when I did my injector upgrade when I had a 7A, Garage a bit of a mess at mo but try and find if its still on the 'spares' shelves. Fingers crossed or you could fit the high impedance injectors and get rid of those cra**y Hitachis
