Prob the same as a brake pipe flaring kit about £20 that way you can make your brake pipes as well.

Not flaring the ends. Just standard compression fittings good for 16'bar.

Default rotten fuel pipes

I put the original thread on about the compression joints and they have worked fine. I have had no problems and it's passed 2 mot's with them. Good luck - it's not too bad a job to do on your back.

actually, reminds me I need to fill in the form for no.4..........

I am a contractor with not a lot of free time and my car is essential to work (if I don't get to work I don't get paid) so I'd rather pay an expert than get an eyeful of petrol and not be able to work.

got mine done today by my usual garage, where the METAL (original steel) fuel pipe comes out of the filter, they have joined it to the new copper (BENDY copper) using RUBBER HOSES AND BLOODY HOSE CLIPS!

When I was driving home and put the slightest load on the engine, it lost power (like it was sucking in air) and would not go above 3000 rpm.

I ended up going up a 60mph hill at 10mph........

Off to take some photos now, and put them on a seperate thread.

Really really hacked off as I need to go to 3 meetings tomorrow at 0830, 35 miles away.........

MIght have to put some decent tyres on the 80CL, find the V5 and tax it online (obviously I won't have the tax disc but it will be "taxed"...)
