Gaz I think Coxy likes Autosol for polished metals. I'm getting this from an old post, so take it with a grain of salt.

I hate polishing rims btw!
it's a real knuckle scraper! Either use Autosol or Peeks metal polish. Don't bother with the Meguiars metal polish as it's overly expensive and not as good. |

I always used autosol its a winner!! COxy do you seal it in anyway after??

only painted rims not polished ones.
I use chemical guys wheel sealant on painted ones (when I can be bothered!!) |

If you can get some, the Mothers metal polish is my personal favourite.

i use metaseul from cava seul normaly but they stopped the production
so looking for new stuff ![]() |

Concur with recommendations for Autosol, it is good and not overpriced.
Is there lacquer on there that needs to be fixed up too? |

last time I bought Autosol, it was 4 tubes for a tenner from the old Buildwas Car Boot!
Was about 15 years ago mind! |
