Default head

was changing the leads on my 90 tonite (5 cylinder) when i noticed a bit of oil weepng owt between the head and the block well its a bit damp is this a usuall thing or is it a sign of headgasket not loosing water or anything just wondering.

not that good if it is leaking.. i'd clean it like hell with detergent and see if it come back. it might have come from somewhere else if you are lucky?

Funny enough,last time I was working under the bonnet I spotted the same thing.
Mine's only a tiny leak and looks quite old?(Dirty.)It's about centre of the block,on the right hand side.
When I get time,I'll look into it.A stitch,in time.

just had another look its between the warm up regulator and the back off the head yes its very dirty propably been like that a while will have too keep an eye on it maself,was just wondering if it was anything too worry about.

Same place,as mine.From the back of the warm up regulator and about 4 inches long.
Could be a design,fault??

Nothing to worry about in the short term if it's a little weep. You ought to see the state of my GT with 209,000 on the clock! I always keep an eye on the oil level, uses about a litre between services which isn't that bad.

maybe biggyin thanks for letting me know guys will have too just keep an eye on it,think al pull the 2.2 owt off the coupe and get it ready for the 90.
