Default Bosch metering head / injector thread sizes

Anybody know what the thread is on both a KE-JET metering head, and the KE-JET injectors???

I think they are both M10 (measured with a micrometer).

The injector is a parallel thread, the male connector on the metering head end is tapered. Both have a nipple (shut up you lot!) with a 45 degree tapered seat.

I am looking at making up some new fuel injector lines, and just seeing what is possible.

www.thinkauto.com for bits......

the thread sizes on my 200 5t are coarser than on the later 200 1b,so there must have been a change over date, this i know because my 5t lines are shot and i thought i would use the later ones,,,,wrong

the threads are completely different on the early type metering heads.

M8 on the early style banjo bolts

Later (1986 on) are m10 with unions

Cheers guys.

I am going to pop into merlin Motorsport at Castle Combe and see if they can do anything.

they are a Goodridge dealer and can make up most
things. I will take one of my old
lines along.
