Activists make a big mistake

It seems a few activists thought it would be a good idea to declair war on leather use at a biker party.

Wow. What kills me, is they seem surprised by the response.
I guess childeren are so coddled now that they no longer learn, that if you touch a hot surface it will burn you, and its your own damn fault.

We had a "protest" in the US last year, in Seattle, the group "E.L.F" or Environmental Liberation Front, burned down a couple 1/2 million dollar mansions that were nearly completed. Turned out the houses were something like 85-90% Green, relying heavily on recycled and viable non-organic building materials. The group members were then surprised to be pursued as arsonists and terrorists.

All these radicals do is harden the resolve of there enemies.
To change the world, and people's hearts you have to make your own sacrifices, and invite others to be educated over time. The world at large is not populated with cold, unthinking robber baron's who'll kill anything or anyone to make a buck. Those that are this way will rarely be walking past your picket line. The average human tries to be descent.
I'm amazed by the number of people using recyclable grocery bags now, refusing the petro chem plastic store bags.
