I have been truly fortunate.
About 6 years ago I toured a B-24 Liberator and a B-17.
Both belong to a Foundation.
The head of the foundation is friends with my boss.

I spent an hour+ actually riding (passenger)over the coast of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Nantucket Island in the B-17.
We did 3 touch down-fly offs on a small runway on the Island.

One of the best days of my life.
When I get home I'll scan the 35mm pics and post them.

Love the Superfortress model.
