VAG com on ebay. any good?

hi all

i was on ebay and stumbled across some VAG com kits........ has anyone bought one from there before, or does anyone know if their any good?

im only looking to be able to diagnose faults and then clear codes when fixed

dont want to buy it to then find out that it doesnt work on my laptop or that i have to then spend a fortune on software
