Red face Advice Potential MB Quattro sale

This is just one of many thoughts so no one shoot me down yet please, but thinking of selling the UR depending on how one or two things go work wise in the next couple of weeks.

My intention has always been that its a keeper, but Ive had little time to touch it the last few years, in fact with work and travelling this year I haven't physically seen the car myself for a good 2 years (its stored with a friend locally)

So........ just after opinions on what its worth and wheres best to sell it (here I guess!) other than just dumping it on ebay!

1988 MB Quattro
Tornado Red
approx 240k miles with history

all new wishbone bushes
all new subframe bushes (to be fitted)
all new dampers (boge if i remember properly)
new top hats all round
new H+R springs - 35mm
new uprated discs/ferrodo pads front, new standard rears
new rear calipers (to be fitted)
new seal kits on front calipers
refurbed standard Ronals with 4 brand new Pirelli's
excellent standard interior

Been in storage about 4-5 years and all new parts have been fitted during this period so have had no use, car has not started in last 2 years as not willing to risk condition of timing belt, before storage she was starting to smoke a bit on start up and getting a bit tappety, I was planning on a rebuild/considering a 20v swap which is why it came off the road but time then funds got away from me.

Body wise it needs a small amount of welding on one sill and the boot hinges (this may be done before any potential sale anyway), new front wing painting/fitting (wing is with the car) and a few scratches+ dings here/there sorting, windows are out so it wants new F+R rubbers. my intention was a full hit + respray but it could be reasonably tidy with alot less work.

To get the car an mot it needs the windows going in, sill welded and timing belt changing to get running, for it to be 'on the road' proper it wants the above with the top end of the engine rebuilding, bottom end inspecting and i'd change the rads, plus a wheel alignment with more than likely a set of tie rods.

Can't think of owt else to tell you!

Basically I don't want to sell but may feel I have to in the next few weeks depending on things pan out with work, any opinions guys + gals?

If you want my opinion keep it if you can afford to as you will get far more for a road worthy car than a car not complete
Otherwise you can give it to me free so I can have a trio of mb's

If i keep it then i keep it, won't sell it once complete and if i have to sell it i'll buy another when funds allow.
If i can i'll keep it no matter what, i'm hoping to make a genuine push to get it done after new year but at the minute with the way of the world and work it may just be the easiest way to free up some cash, got a few old SAAB Turbo's lying about but they're not worth much these days!!

So just idea's of what its worth if anyone can give me an idea??
