Sept 27th - Sussex area get together

Just a quick note, we're going to The Fox Public house on the old A27 at Patching (Worthing) on Sunday afternoon from 1pm-ish, the Golf GTi Club are having their monthly meet there, nice pub, nice food and pretty relaxed natter for a couple of hours.

Be nice if a couple more Audi's turned up...

I'll be there Ian and I am going to try and get John M along also, and hopefully another chap called Glen. All A4's though...nothing classic about them yet!

Well, that was a very pleasant couple of hours, plenty of different cars, Corrados, GTi’s and several Audis, including Al’s RS2, Chris Taylors RaRa, Steve’s Red WR, The RallyRep and a couple of A4’s. Lovely weather, great location and nice people. What more could you want for a Sunday Lunchtime.

Did so much nattering, I forgot to take any pictures until the close of play, so only got these…

Hopefully John Wintle will pop some up too…

On the way out I had a go at trying to deafen Steve who had the misfortune to follow me, are you're folk all okay? No ears bleeding or other damage I hope...

we jsut about survied great sound, we did have a sat nag failure (hazel) getting us to turn left at the end of the bypass when haskins garden cetre was to the right !

I bet you just wanted to turn 'any which way' to get away from the noise!!!

That's a nasty mistake to make there too, it's long run down to the roundabout and back, added a couple of miles to the trip!
