i'm interested in getting a front strut brace for the CQ.
anybody advise me on the right sort to get? as there don't seem to be any bolts to mount it to? like i've seen in other cars. |

What make are you looking at? As all the ones I know need to have holes drilled and then bolts put through.

I've heard that you can fit the type 89 mounts, and them make a bar to go between them......
895 805 635 and 636 are the part numbers (I think)........... I have a pair lurking for specifically that purpose. The 2 brackets with the part numbers above weld onto the strut towers, and then you make up a box section strut brace to go between them..... |

There isnt an off the shelf item and so welding/fabrication is needed.... Typ89 as James says or just get one made up, its not a complex item in all honesty.
