Default front strut brace for the CQ

i'm interested in getting a front strut brace for the CQ.

anybody advise me on the right sort to get? as there don't seem to be any bolts to mount it to? like i've seen in other cars.

What make are you looking at? As all the ones I know need to have holes drilled and then bolts put through.

I've heard that you can fit the type 89 mounts, and them make a bar to go between them......

895 805 635 and 636 are the part numbers (I think)...........

I have a pair lurking for specifically that purpose. The 2 brackets with the part numbers above weld onto the strut towers, and then you make up a box section strut brace to go between them.....

i've no idea what make really.. What makes are there for the CQ?
So long as it does the the job and looks nice.. thats the main aim really.

i think i've seen the one you're on about. Is there anyone on here using this type?

There isnt an off the shelf item and so welding/fabrication is needed.... Typ89 as James says or just get one made up, its not a complex item in all honesty.

i ve got one on my track day gt, have a look on my website and follow the links, should be able see it in engine pictures
should give you an idea of what you need, but it is a bolt in one
