Not sure what this is all about, and I stumbled across it after clicking a link in Steve (Catgroom's) signature, but I'm totally intrigued and some of tehe photography is superb!

Mental illness is hard to deal with I know as my hubby is manic depressive but steves piccies show the realaity of some of the hospitals......but saying that the older bulidings have some fab features

Amazing Victorian architecture - personnally I think it was the height of craftmenship, design etc etc... in a dereclict state it's somehow much more fascinating. This is exactly what lead me to become a conservation Architect - I love looking around derelict buildings - ok it sounds a bit wierd!

It seem amazing that these places are just left to fall into a state of total disrepair inthis day and age when price of land and property is at such a premium.

not at all! I do it myself but only to find pieces of graffiti which have been thrown up!
