Default KV 2226cc Engine

i have for sale a complete KV engine 2226cc. The engine has done 120k but has no inlet / exhaust manifold, or injectors, or dizzy. I have a metering head to go with it and all braided fuel lines. I purchased this last Autumn but have never done anything with it so is now surplus to requirements.

£100 all in.

I also have a complete block from a KV engine 2226cc

£50

And....... I have a complete KV head 2226cc also.

£50.

I also have a set of 14'' Wolfrace Voodoo alloys with an offset of 45 that came off my Coupe quatt when I purchased it. Good nick, ok only 14'' but come with mint Hankook tyres and would be good as a set of winter wheels / tyres

£ 150.

If anyone is interested then either PM me or call me on 07870 885625.

Given that they're the same block (or atleast bore); would said head fit on to my 1915cc GT5S (theoretically)?

If so - any idea of what it would drop the compression ratio down to?

Cheers,

Matt

Shouldnt drop the C.R down anything as the capacity of the head is still the same ... about 27/8 CC iirc so wont change a thing, only if you put a 20v head onto it will it change as that is about 37/8 cc iirc, also wouldnt the block waterways not line up due to it being a smaller cc carbed engine

Kv head will bolt up to the 1921 cc WN code block *but* there will be an issue with the water feed in that the kv head overlaps the head gasket and block so itll throw coolant out if you dont apply sealer.
Overlap the head gaskets for the two to see what i mean.

Its something i did many moons ago.
I ran the injected kv head on a gt5s block, it worked fine and never let me down, but you will have that water feed issue.
As far as i can remember there were no other issues.
