I know its friday night and we have all had a week of it,but....
I ve bought this Karmann Beetle. I went to a VW specialised and basically I can buy a brand new car in spares. I bought a whole new carpet today in the colour of my choice for £200 taylor made brand new. New bumpers £100 brand new....

My real question is, it is going to get to the point that in the not so distant future we will not be able to use or beloved Audi's anymore because of no parts.

In the vw scene and MG etc its the die hard enthusiasts have started to manufactor parts and have mnade really good business from that, plus VW have choosen to keep making most things.

I dont want Poop to be know longer, and I suppose at the moment I can still get parts from friends like you and the Bay of Thieves.. But how mauch longer can we survive on second hand used parts...

Not too long id say.

Its a real struggle to get some of the bits but you just have to keep nagging at Audi's pr people to try and get the message to sink into their heads.
We love our cars, we want to keep them. Dont let them die on us Audi.

There are 1,084 registered members here. Can't we as a forum apply some pressure with well reasoned argument to Audi?

How do MG owners survive, really. Isnt there anyway that you guys with engineering backgrounds could produce small batches of stuff. I know it would cost a fortune, but better that way then killing the car!

Me too. I've redesigned the Fuba Antena circuit board. Anyone fancy a new Digital Dash?
