Default Random past cars..NO AUDI'S!!!

Just flicking though my photobucket and found this, a bit of a bast from the past from me!

1964 Corvair Monza 900. 2.7litre air cooled flat six!

I'm sure there's plenty of people on here who've owned some real random delights, so let's see them!

Rover SD1, 2.0 auto. Bought to replace a written off Audi 100.

BMW 320i I bought off a mate. Drove really well but was quite rusty.

Mk 2 Fiesta. Started life as a 957cc ohv. Brilliant engine but slow and boring. Until I got a 1.6 Xflow and put that in it. Went quite fast after that.

528i I had a few years ago. Recently sold on ebay again.

3.2 Jag XJ40. Never really liked it.

W reg Audi 80 GLS auto I had in 1989. On a trip to Stone Henge the day the photo was taken.

Vanden Plas Rover 2600 SD1 I had in about 1998. Got it from an old boy needing minimal work for the MOT. Didn't keep it long due to noisy output bearing on the autobox.

Volvo 760 turbo. Nice car, wish I'd kept it.

Pic taken from same car on motorway.

318i off ebay. Picked it up in Crawley. Had a warped front disk. Complete nightmare to drive home, it was like driving a giant dildo, especially when braking for roundabouts. Used the gearbox and handbrake as much as possible.

Fiat 132, 2 litre twin cam like one I used to have. Are there any left or have they all dissolved by now ?

Category C written off Polo. Looked good when I'd fixed it.

Apse Heath on the Isle of Wight. Sign gets defaced regularly, so I'm told.

My 1976 BMW 3.0si. with Alpina and AC Snitzer extras. RIP

My Grandfather's Biege 1972 Saab 99 LE. Gave to a Saab fanatic.

2001 Subaru 2.5rs. Agile but anemic. Sold it. Missed the torque of a 6 cyl. Audi.

looks like there's plenty of BMW love here so I'm safe to add this!

1981 323i

'62 notch

single cab bay window, was a hoot to drive as it had a 1776 lump in the back!

'76 dolly sprint

also had a white one with a blue bonnet funnily enough, but that one was a project that never saw the road whilst I had it!

and a 1987 Maserati BiTurbo. Cheap winter hack. Have no idea what ever possessed me to buy it in the first place!

Heres some of my previous cars.

Starting with my import Micra aka March, nice to drive excellent handling, then I superchargerd it with a 4-AGE! Piggybacked the ECu and remapped at 130bhp.

I miss this car, its currently breaking in my front drive. THis car provided me with 3 years of fun & never let me down.

1.6zx Nissan Sunny, bought it off ebay, as a cheap run around. Sold it for a tidy profit

Volvo 340 GL bought for £50. 60k mileage, drove it about 15k sold it for £350!

I had a rear one with a boot! Don't see many of them around at all.

VW mk2 Golf, I miss this car as much as my Micra, it had the best handling for a FWD car.

anyone recognise these alloys?

Austin Maestro 2.0 diesel, excellent handling which was suprising! 55mpg amazingly frugal car, but stuff kept on breaking such as door handles, interior fixings etc, used it for mud racing in fields and then I scrapped it because the wheel bearings were shot, driveshafts were playing up, cv joints were knackered

Had a two E30's. standard 325i and a few years later a 335i, M30 conversion.

Good fun, but waste of money, things kept on going wrong turned into a money pit. So i broke it and recouped my money.
