selling a car abroad

IF someone from Germany was to buy my UrS4 ( got interested party there) how easy is it to do the paperwork.
Also he would want to drive it back ..... SO IF he was stopped by a cop and he can prove it has just been purchased and he is taking it abroad and heading for the ferry..... can he do that?
ALSO... once the car has been signed over to him, am I in the clear if he is spotted?

simple.

You get the money off him and on the right hand part of the V5C there's a part (section 11) that's for notification of Permanent Export. Just fill that in and send it to the DVLA.

Job done.

If it has no MOT he must trailer it but what he does after you've got the money off him is not your concern.

German bloke who bought my girlfriend's old car came with some German plates, which he put on the car before driving it to the ferry.
Never heard from him again so I don't know how he got on. Just sent the export notification off and that was it.

yea, this guy said the same thing regarding bringing German plates...suppose it would throw off our road scanners.
