When did you last see one on the road?
Was talking to the chap who owned this today and he says that his is one of 4 known Zastava's on the road in the UK! You can kinda understand why as they were just cheap almost disposable cars! This one had only clocked up a mere 21k from new which is one of the reasons it still lives today! ![]() ![]() |

That's why me and a mate called them Crapstarva.
I had a 5 door one (513 ?). It came to me with rear damage. Bloke I bought it from had parked half on the pavement and gone to a cashpoint machine. Some joyriders in a nicked car crashed into it and bent the OS R suspension arm. The wheel was pointing towards the front passenger side. I adjusted the wishbone (shims) but this didn't bring it back enough, so had to use Plan B, which involved putting the wheel on facing outwards so I could ram it against a gate post until the wheel moved to the right position again. It was fine after that, well as good as a Yugo could be I suppose. I had to straighten the back end with a sledgehammer and fix the rear light unit with superglue. When the tax ran out I sold it to some traveller bloke who promised he was only going to use it for local running about. Then he moved to Derby and got loads of parking tickets. Yes, come to think of it, it was quite crap. Nowhere near as good as any of the Fiat 127s I had. |

I have never seen it as a 3-door version before. In Denmark we only had the 5 door version...
Now I want one! |
