All VAG dealers have a fuel system cleaner which may only be available to them and not for re-sale. A friend of mine is the Audi Master Technician at Wolverhampton Audi and he has mentioned it to me at times but cannot remember the code but I know it's G....something or other. It doesn't just clean the nozzles but it also cleans the complete lot and is VERY concentrated. He recommended I use it when overhauling the injector / breather system on my head on the Cq. I am seeing him Sunday so will ask him then.

The best stuff to use is Forte fuel injection cleaner. Brilliant stuff!!!!
It used to be trade only but now you can get it from specialist places.
Try a local fuel injection specialist.
or you could buy these!!!!!

I've also found that Red-Line Fuel System Cleaner is really excellent. Available from Demon Tweeks.

Fuel injector cleaner certainly helps, I quite often run some through, the RallyRep's got some in at the moment. It's a fuel system laxative...

But on a serious note, a few years ago, and Pete, you might remember this, my S2 would stutter on full boost, and it was pretty severe too. I tried, changed and tested numerous bits and bobs, and had the car into a garage twice, all to no avail. In desperation I slung in a double dose of fuel injector cleaner...

And hay-presto, fault gone, never to return...

Yeah, I do remember that. They do seem to like a dose now and then.

In fact, a few years back I sent off a set of Injectors for from my Golf GTI for ultrasonic cleaning. They were found to need no cleaning at all and were just returned with new seals.
That was after using the Red Line stuff a couple of times on an original car with over 160K miles.
