Default Gawkers

So, now that I bravely mounted the 7x15 Ronals on the Coupe last weekend(snow flurries today), removing the studded snows mounted on black steelies, I'm getting gawked at. It's not that people didn't notice my strange angular car in a sea of rolling supositories before, but now they stop and stare. It's like before she was a brunette, now she's a blonde. Pardon the cliche, but it has been really odd.

Do you guys get gawkers in the UK. These 80's Audis are really uncommon in the States.

Oh yes. I took my coupe into the local tyre franchise to have her wheels balanced the other week. Parked next to a BMW Z3 and guess who got all the attention?? Tyre monkeys were all over her like flies on the proverbial.

Love it

get the odd one or two (hundred!) gawping and plenty of nods of approval off men between the ages of 35 and 50 when out in the Rally Rep!
Even had some young ladies with their mobiles taking a video last week when we went into town in it to do the shopping!

It's amazing the attention that these cars grab!
I remember the day I picked mine up, I had to pull into a massively overgrown shopping mall to meet the wife for the trip home... while prowling the carpark for a space with the windows down a bunch of young lads stopped and pointed at which point their father claimed without a doubt that it was a DeLorean
