Default 2.3 7a 90 b3 Quattro

Hello

Once again. Asking for help haha, so ive I have changed the speedometer, and speed sensor near gearbox. And still my speedometer does not show how fast im going. Any other sensors that i could be changing?

Also had an oil pressure light on (fixed that by changing the oli pressure switvh/sensor) still get nothing on vdo gauges? (Swaped them too) once i turn the ignition on, oil pressure just jumps to 5 (with out starting the car) and oil temperature does not move either.

Any advice as always is appriciated

It's normally a broken cog that causes that.

Are the miles going round ?

I had to change the cogs on mine and there's some pictures on my project thread here

Are your gauges standard and are you sure all the wiring is there ? I added gauges to my 2.6 and until I added extra wiring, I got exactly the same results as you're seeing here.

If all your wiring is there, read on.

If your oil pressure gauge jumps to 5 bar with only ignition, the wire is on the wrong terminal of the oil pressure sender.

Should be on the G terminal. The WK terminal is for the oil pressure warning system.

Oil temperature sender is in the oil pump. It's only a single wire held on by a small screw. It's common for the terminal to break inside the rubber boot.

It also doesn't move much anyway so the car needs a decent thrashing to get the temperature up.

If it's not the wire, it will likely be the sender which are not available new any more.
