I'm assisting a friend with a 2000 A4 2.5 tdi. He recently dropped his rear wheel into a deep ditch and had to be towed out. Since then, he has had a nasty rattle from the rear. I had a look at the car for him today and the lower edge of the rear windscreen appears to be rattling against the body and is no longer bonded
. Anyone fixed this without resorting to a windscreen fitting company? I was thinking of running a bead of panel bond between the glass and body and letting it set? ![]() |

That must have been quite a bang I’d be tempted to get a windscreen removal tool and cut the window our properly and reseal it all properly |
