Gear knob for 1988 100

I need a new one as the leather comes off in my hand

wheres the best place to try.......??

I want some thing that looks standard/plain i want to keep it as original as possible

would you believe it, i work for audi and i have just checked the part number.
443711141Q1BX is the leather 5+R and they have two in stock at Milton Keynes.
the best bit £35.74 inc vat.

easiest way would be to go to your local audi dealer and they will order it for you under that part number, 443711141Q1BX

do you work for a volkswagen dealer?

if so get your partsman to order one from your local TPS dealer and he should be able to receive it into his stock and then sell it to you with a bit of discount. if he is reluctant get in touch and i will organise it for you.
