I seem to have play/movement at the rear output flange on my MB quattro gearbox. Is this normal or is there a bearing in here that can be replaced easily? or is it a complete gearbox dismantle?
Thanks a lot. |

After removing the centre diff housing it is very obvious the play is a worn rear bearing, can anyone tell me how to separate the diff/flange from the bearing? Or have a Bentley manual they could scan/copy pages from?
Its an MB quattro with Torsen diff. Many thanks. ![]() Last edited by oliverjl; 28-01-18 at 09:14 PM. |
