Post office opening times

Was out last night to get a first class stamp for a letter to post at 8pm, the local shop has the post office counter in it, said to the nice lady at the shop till, "I know the post office is closed but can you sell me a first class stamp or book of stamps" and was informed the post office is open from 5.30am till 9.30pm in this shop, funny, post offices are closing all over the UK and in this instance the post office that has moved in to the local shop is open all hours.

One near me has the same opening hours it's great, no more "i can't get that sent of till tomorrow". Win win allround.

Yeah we have about 14 post offices amongst our shops and you will find an increase in small post offices with convenience stores as they pay a decent salary and attracts people to the shop - another service for the customer

Ours is 8am-7pm so not as good as you guys.
