The other day I changed my cam cover gasket. Not a huge job but now there is a very irregular miss fire and it will cut out for a split second. It is worse when the cafe is up to temperature. I've checked the timing and that is spot on. The plugs and ht leads are just a few weeks old and fine. I've checked all the connections of all the bits I had to disconnect and all seams OK. The throttle body is clean. My thoughts vould be leaning towards a fuel problem. Any thoughts from you guys?

if it's an ignition cut, check the inlet manifold grounds and that the MAF connector is fully plugged in

Sorted. I was the manifold earth connections. I had somehow only connected one and the other as making an intermittent contact on the manifold. Hence the missfire.
