Disabled Lamborghini driver?

Went to Cribbs Causeway shopping centre in Bristol today.

Was out in the Caravelle in the car park feeding the kids and changing nappies.

Spotted a white Lamborghini, 2008 reg drive past. Thought "mmmm nice car".

Went to the bogs in the shopping centre. Spotted the Lambo, parked in a disabled parking bay.

Well, the driver could have got the car on the "motability" scheme, but probably not.

He definitely did not have a blue badge on the dashboard.

The car park was nearly full with not many disabled spaces left.

So, I did the honourable thing and reported the c0ck who parked there to the Information / Parking desk in the shopping centre.

My Father in Law could get a blue badge, but doesn't because of his pride. So it really gets my goat when these people think they can park wherever they like.

When I initially went to the first shop to enquire where I should report the driver, she said the main information point. I showed her the photo, and she said "cock" too.

So, I went to the Information point, told the woman there, who said "The CCTV will pick it up". I then showed her the photo, and she took the registration number.

As I was walking away, I heard over the tannoy "Would the owner of the White Lamborghini registration LJ08FBF please return to their car".

Well, by the time I got back to the Caravelle, and put the kids in the car, and had driven to the exit, guess who was reversing in front of me?

Yes, "Lambo COCK Boy".

He then drove a few spaces, and pulled into ANOTHER disabled parking space.

By now, I was REALLY annoyed.

So (much to the disgust of my wife), I stopped along side (because he couldn't actually park straight, even in a WIDE disabled bay, he was angled in the parking bay), wound down the passenger window and beeped the horn.

Me: "excuse me, do you know that's a disabled space?"

C0ck: "yes, why?"

Me: "well you don't have a blue badge" (as he could have legitimately been picking up his disabled grandmother, as he wasn't disabled himself)

C0ck: (in a broad Bristolian accent) "are you winding me up?"

Me: "well you're not disabled, that's a disabled parking space. Unless you're mentally disabled and can't actually read?"

C0ck: "you what? are you winding me up???"

At that point I realised there was a queue of cars behind me, so I wound the window up and drove off.

Made me laugh anyway. And hopefully made him realise how much people think he is a complete tw4t for parking in disabled parking spaces.

nice wheels though

you should have parked 12 inches away from him in the next space.

if its on cctv then perhaps they will get a ticket issued. worth the effort just to tag a prick like that

I think he was a footballer, as he was in his 30s.

Are they 5x112 wheels? Would they fit the Caravelle?

He did have problems reversing as the turning circle is awful as is the rear visibility.

Still makes me chuckle! I should have recorded the tannoy announcement for the comedy value

hehehheheheh no comment as i tend to use 2 spaces but I wouldn't use a disabled one!

had many a stand up row with other co*ks on this subject. I've found that if you shout loud enough so people stop to look they loose their nerve and drive off!
it does tend to upset the wife though

ps just one thing though i 'll have to pick you up on though- have a word with your father in law, it's got nothing to do with pride and nobody looks down on you.
If you need a blue badge then get one-
one advantage for me is that it keeps people away from the fresh paint work on my quattro
