Default Getting sent to Coventry. Any guidance before the yokels get me?

I think it's fairly self explanatory, and so I shall be as cryptic and fuzzy as is possible. Due to circumstances largely within my control, I'm looking at an imminent move towards the near norf! Or at least, spending time in the region that I'll never get back, so may as well make 't most uv it.

Of particular interest is areas to avoid residentially, due to The fact that I like my cars whole, not holed.
Nearest rifle range, dogging sites, etc.

As yet, I have no idea how much time I shall actually spend in the area, so like my search for a new steed, it's fact finding time.

And in an effort to alienate as many folk as possible, I've nailed a suitably inappropriate poll on.

If it ticks every box in ones complex make-up, fill thine boots.

I lived there on and off for a few years. There are some nice areas and some very grim ones. The Motor Transport Museum is great. Friday and Saturday nights in the city centre isn't (or wasn't in my time).
Avoid Foleshill, Wood End, Hillfields, Willenhall and Stoke Aldemoor. Styvechale, Cheylesmore and Finham are some of the better areas. Toll Bar (Death) Island on the A45/A46 was a nightmare at working hour start/finish times but apparently it's under improvement. Don't know for definite because I've got no intention of ever going back to Coventry.
Kenilworth or Leamington might tempt me to get somewhere near though.

In general, I need to be a maximum of 90 minutes from Coventry airport, so about 40miles, max, to account for traffic, and the UK highways agency's efforts at sending us back to the Middle Ages.
