Default very stiff window winder?

My 80 Sport front passenger window has suddenly become very stiff and there is about twenty degrees of free play.
Not had time to strip it out yet ( far too cold ! ) but any advice what to look for ?
Thanks.

Hi Chris, was only a light hearted remark, but for sure with the extreme cold up in Berkshire recently, I guess it could be the cold...incidentally, I was brought up in Bracknell in the '50's and 60's...changed a bit since then I guess. ATB, Frank

OK but it could happen.
Yes changed beyond recognition.
I live near the Running Horse.
RAF Staff college gone , 1500 houses there.....
we used to be a road width and a line of houses from open countryside towards Warfield.... must be more than 1000 houses there, built late 1980s.

We lived down Larges Lane, opposite the Staff College, and before they closed it off, just the other side of the bridge...house now gone the same way as everything else.
Prior to that lived in Church Road which is now a dual carriageway I think. Such a pleasant little Market Town, and then it became a "New Town". That's progress!

Hope the window gets sorted, is it a B2 Sport?

Update on this:
well managed to get the door card off without bending /damaging anything!
After applying dry lube/thin oil/small amount of grease in all the appropriate places it seems to be working fine now, not quite as free as the drivers door but certainly OK.
As the mech. looked very dry I should probably do the other three as a precaution and I now have the experience to do all three probably in the time it took to do the one!
