Default Windscreen removal?

HI
i want to remove my own windscreen on my 87 coupe to do the a pillar rust repairs and prep for paint.

is this something i can do my self?

i pressume the rubber strip pulls out of the seal?
is it then a simple push out with your feet job or do i need to cut and replace the seal?

thanks in advance
damian.

If you can get hold of a new rubber i would cut it

I tried to get a screen out and it broke using the feet method

I would also cut it. Been there, also couldnt reuse the old seal.

Yep, I busted mine on my cq, If I was to have another go I'd use aluminium suction cups that you use on windows (glass windows not microsoft ), grip the screen. connect to a hoist/puller etc. put under slight tension, then try to release the rubber from the inside

Absolutely no need to use feet or cut rubbers. A couple of blunt flatblade screwdrivers and a bit of patience is all that's needed.

I had the S1-A 250 was a fair bit quicker than the KH but being earlier had drum brakes front and rear
Not even the Yam RD-250's could keep up with it
