Think it's about 2lb from memory , the whyte is just under 26lb and this is a tad above it but it's a 29er .... Rides amazing

Nice

I've been riding once this year, well I say once, 6 days in the Alps (Morzine/Let Gets) and that's it. Really must get out more. Came straight back and bought a snazzy air shock for the rear of my Orange and haven't ridden it since!

Must sort this out!

140mm all round?

I really struggled with my Orange Blood in the Alps. Not big enough hitting (160mm) for the black runs, felt very unstable on the more boggy runs and with no lock out I really struggled to keep up with the rest of the group when we were riding the valleys. But it came alive on the dusty gravel tracks, trounced everyone then!

Iirc yeah but bear in mind it's a 29er so about the max you can get . It's very very plush and I can change the geometry easily with the ride 9 chip system . Climbs well too

You really must try queen elizabeth country park not too far away from you. The trails have all been updated and improved this last year or two - there are some great sections that rival some of the welsh trail centres. I work there so ride to work, do a days work, then peddle out into the forest

Surprised you have gone 29er John, the current trend is favouring the 27.5. I have a 29er and its streets ahead of the older 26" variants, I'm yet to try the 27.5"

Do you ever get yourself over my local haunt, Cannock Chase?
