i once rented a house in Cardiff that had a garage at the rear, the garage was boarded up and was told it was rented out seperatly..
One drunken summer I pulled back one of the boards to look inside, it was spacious, full of tools AND an MGB.. but the doors hadn't been opened for years.
I enquired of the landlord if i could rent the garage which is when he informed me that no one ever had and that it was already boarded up when he bought the place 15 years earlier..

turned out the car had been sat there since at least 1981....
