GT seats compatibility question

Currently trying to sell a seat set from a gt 1987 (black and grey). Somebody has asked whether they would fit a 1982 1.9 coupe, as he reckons the rails are different?

Any help would be much appreciated

These are the same seat and same fitment.

He's right, the central fore and aft adjusters will need modifying....
