Sorry for hijacking thread a wee bit, but what do you think about the price? Do you think it's about right or over priced? I have a '93 urS4 manual with black cloth interior and just trying to work out what it's worth.

I was the guy that toyed with putting the engine in my B3 Coupe in Fife. Just kinda wondering how much these are worth. Prices seem to all over the place....

I paid £500 for mine(my best buy ever) with a years mot and tax(2 years ago),spent a few quid on the usual upkeep servicing etc, its an auto and can shift, only downside the mpg not to good,i love the old bus ,and fulfills my day to day motoring needs(fantastic on long journeys because of the ride and comfort).
they do vary in price depending on condition, a good 20vt engine and ancillarys are at least £1000-£1500,got any pics of yours and is it avant or saloon?

It's a dark green Avant manual with the carbon trim, 132K FSH. No dents or dings, but a bit of staining on the laquer. No rust except an thin line of surface rust along the OS rear window. No got any pics handy, but I'll get some up.

For me, it's just that bit too big and wide, makes it a handful on country roads & MPG aint great. Had Focus RS & Evo in the past and can live with the MPG if the rest of the car is 'right'
