Default Who else has got Christmas stuff in their Supermarket....?

Well, ours has... and our Seven year old said, and I quote....

"oh no, not Christmas?".... "its ages away yet, isn't it?"...

Its sad to say, but commercialism is ruining kids Christmas' already....

Sad isn't it?

The count down to Christmas for me at that age started in mid December, opening the windows/doors on the advent calendar at school.

Icing the cake, baking tarts and mince pies at home on xmas eve was also part of the ritual. Simpler times I guess.

No sooner will Christmas be over and they'll be pushing Valentines Day. It never stops, one spendfest after another.

My Birthday is mid-November, and as a kid I remember getting annoyed if I saw Christmas stuff before it... Back then it (the Christmas 'tat') all appeared in the shops around December 1st...
