I've seen some of this info. There's a one problem with that 10v tuning - owners for some strange reason are willing to get high rev power from 2v engines, which won't make it. You will sacrifice low rev torque for small amount of high rev power. There's basically no point of this kind of tuning for 10v engines - if you want power from NA engine, get yourself 7A, it is capable of 300 bhp. 10v needs B4/C4 configuration hardware + 2.5 TDI crank + three exit manifold and maybe 2.0 intake manifold - all to get more low rev torque and a couple of dozen horses in the process. In any case, if you want power, first thing to do - EFI - 2.3 10v makes about 150 bhp without KE-jetronic

same as above, it will cost you the earth to get a decent power out the 10v when a 20v conversion is cheaper, sounds good and provides more power.

Yes, but a 300bhp 7A is mental money, has a crazy powerband and I would imagine a pretty short llifespan.

A 20vt swap would be soo much cheaper, nicer to driver etc.

Taking a 10vt above 300bhp becomes a lot more expensive than just using a 20vt.

There is a complete 3B S2 on ebay for £1300, swap the engine, loom and ecu into your car, sell the rest and your swap will cost you very little.

Spend £150 on a chip and you have 280bhp.

Also budget for a live map if you are going custom.

Stock 3b will give you 200+ BHP and with only fwd will be a handful. Get the 3b in and then worry about upgrades as you go along.
