Has anyone used Terraclean on their car and it work. I have a 1.8 coupe GT 1987 and thinking it might be good for it. Or would it break it?

Engine decarbonising system, seems to have decent press although I'm always reluctant to have anything done like this on an old high mileage engine as often its the gunk inside that's stopping it leaking like a sieve.

But if Ed China gives it the thumbs up who am I to argue.......

Might depend on what mileage is on it, ie. is the engine worn?

Just done 97000. Running a bit rich. K jetronic. Thought it would help tbh.

Have tried to alter mixture with co machine, but didn't change must. One minute when warm its ticking over smooth and mixture fine. Next it changes and goes lumpy with blue smoke and co goes to 5+!! Thought a clear out with this stuff might help.

or a fine spray of deionized water in the inlet manifold, steam clean.
Water injection does'nt just give more power and econony for turboed engines !

Also run any petrol engine on methanol/ ethanol (vodka) for a few miles and you will clean carbon and soot out. If only Mr Ford had his way.
