£18495 is the asking price. With some haggle the right person would probably get this car for around £17495,which forgetting any provenance that the TV appearance may or may not add,is not OTT considering some of the shit that gets offered for not alot less.It is a decent example of the second rarest UR model and seems to have decent history with it.It was an Audi press car which(for some) would add to its appeal and looks to be pretty standard which is a breath of fresh air.
In my opinion the UR in general only seems to be deemed as overpriced by exactly the people that should encourage its appreciation, the owners. If i was looking for a 20v RR i would be heading to Yorkshire for a serious look at this car.

I'm with you on that, it looks mighty clean and can appreciate the 'stories' that go with the car. An RR for me would have been the most desirable model of all prior to my buying a WR so it's likely got the largest model appeal to non UR owners (past or present).

I always looked at buying a UR as doing it one of two ways. Either buy top dollar motor and hope it's a solid car or buy a bit of a dog and KNOW you need to spend megabucks but have the knowledge that you know what's been done.. I went for the second option!

Looking at the 'setting' I doubt the owner is in any particular rush to sell so more to them if they can hold out for the full amount then fair play to them, I'm sure the new owner won't feel short changed.

Just think, that yellow UR in Devon (which I actually really liked) went for not much under £10k and that was waaaay off of being unmolested or original!

"Been for sale for about three years on and off"
Does that not suggest that , cutting through the usual "I couldn't bear to be parted from it" smokescreen, that's its overpriced in the marketplace???
