Hmm...

Very nice build, but no original ex-works car I guess, value would be more.
Question is, mounted out of a standard Sport quattro? If yes, then the value is similar as the same type of car abroad.
If it's a recreation Sports, difficult to say.

On the pics a very beautiful S1, with a lot of expensive work done...

No, its not worth £122k... its worth a lot more... Seriously, that is a car with a very serious degree of build integrity, and history, and provinance... That is a car I would, if I could, sell the house to buy...

£122 is cheap in my opinion. Road cars are now being touted at around £150,000 for a decent example. Accepted that this is a recreation rather than a factory works car, but realistically I can't see how you would value it at less than £150,000, given that a factory car would be £250,000 +. This is always the issue with any rally car, whats it worth? With Escorts now approaching the 100K mark, Stratos prices stratospheric, and silly money being paided for anything with a Group B homologation, if I had £122K to spare I might well be tempted, because they won't be getting cheaper.

I would love to have this and I do think it is a bit cheap as Roger says I would have thought it was worth £150k maybe a bit more its a extremely impressive spec. Andy has done a great job on it and I am now off to buy a few lottery tickets well you never know

Is a forged Rembrandt worth more or less than an original?

Its a stunning very well built car but surely that price is there to get people talking, not an actual price?

It cant be compared in any way to the price of a genuine works car or even a genuine swb. You could easily build one for under half that price.

I might well be made to eat my words if it sells, and all the best to Andy with selling it!

I have to agree with Hamish. It looks the part but its still not a real one so i dont see how its worth any where near that. Id rather pay hamish to build me one.

Is the whole point in the Sport quattro not the rarety of them?

I am i right in thinking this is a complete sport recreation?
