Well hold back no longer.
What you get is a bigger screen (but smaller than the competition) A new connector so your old iphone specific stuff wont work - usb mini anyone!? You also get, erm, itunes where you have to index every song you own in itunes before you can sync any music Oh but it is thinner and more expensive than direct competitors I'm afraid even apple fanboi's need to admit that what was once a market leader (not so much innovator but populariser of tech) is now firmly mid table. Even Nokia's latest lumia has a higher resolution screen than the 'retina' display so that's not even the party piece anymore. I tried an iphone, had it for 15 months but was frankly happy to be rid of it in the end. I've now gone to the fringes and am running a WP7.something Nokia lumia 800 and I have very high regard for it, really quite surprised with it's usefulness, especially the cracking sat nav bundled free.
