Default RIP Gareth Roberts

Not sure how many people will be aware of this sad news but it is with great sadness that Rallying lost a future talent this weekend at the IRC Targa Florio in Italy. Craig Breens co-driver Gareth Roberts sadly passed away following a crash on SS8. Gareth was a charasmatic and talented young man with a good sense of humour and a successful career ahead of him. Craig and Gareth won the inaugral WRC Academy last year and looked set to achieve great things within the sport. Gareth was 24 years of age.

My thoughts go out to Gareths family and friends, to Craig during this very difficult time and to the whole team who must be in deep shock and sadness.

RIP Gareth.
